A couple of weeks ago, Ethan, Elaina, and I went to my friend Janice's house to go swimming. She has an above ground pool much like my parents'. I was anxious to see how Ethan would do in a big pool because it had been a year since his last experience in a "big pool". He did pretty well, but he didn't want me to let go of him. After we were in the water for a while, we did get him to kick his legs, and he got a little more confident. I told Janice we need to keep coming over so he can get more and more comfortable in the water. We all had a really good time. Ethan had a great time "fishing" with a little toy shark tied to a jump rope. He kept throwing it in the water and pretending it was going to get us. It was funny! Elaina didn't get in the water, but she was so cute in her watermelon bathing suit! I had to post these cute pictures of my children!

Ethan felt much more confident in this little baby pool that Janice had set up on the deck. In fact, when we were in the "big pool" he kept saying, "I want to get in the little pool!"
