I know it's hard to believe, but our little girl is already 5 weeks old today! How can it be? It seems like we just brought her home from the hospital yesterday! She is doing very well. She had a good report at her 1 month doctor's appointment. She already weighs 9 lbs 12 oz and is 21.75 inches long! She is nursing about every 2 1/2 to 3 hours, and she is a much more "dainty" eater than Ethan was. She seems to be a pretty content little lady most of the time. We are so blessed by her! She is doing well at night too. She has trouble going to sleep at the start of the night, which is usually around 10:30pm or so, but once I nurse her and get her to go to sleep, she doesn't get up until about 2:30am or 3:00am. Then she'll sleep until about 5:30am or 6:00am. Overall, I think she's doing well for as young as she is. Hopefully, things will keep getting better as the days go by.
Ethan also got a good report at his 2 year well check. He weighs 29 lbs and is 34.25 inches tall. His communication skills are above average, and the doc said we should try potty training towards the end of the summer. We'll see how that goes! It would be great to not have 2 in diapers! He and Jason spend lots of time in the woods doing "guy things". I know Ethan loves it, and it's so good for him! I have gotten used to them being out there, so I worry less! He also loves music, singing, reading, any vehicles, Thomas the Train, Cars (Lightning McQueen), and wrestling with Daddy. He is a very sensitive little boy, and he loves his little sister (sometimes too much!). We're very proud of him!
